Beijing

Hi! Sorry we didn't post anything as soon as we expected! We had some problems with the battery of our computer and some other things, but we managed to fix it today. Here's a small itinerary of what we did on the 14th and 15th:

July 14th:
Great Wall of China (specifically Ba Da Ling)
Ming Tombs (Shi San Ling)

July 15th:
Olympic Village-Birds Nest & Water Cube
Quan Ju De (Peking Roast Duck)
Tiananmen Square

Tomorrow we will be going to the Summer Palace and then leave Beijing in the afternoon by train and arrive at Xi'an in the morning.

  1. I went there when i went to China in 2008! Isn't it amazing, hope you went crazy with the camera so you can show me when you come back! The Great Wall is fun....especially if you ride the little roller coaster-like thing up, it's like a sightseeing roller coaster!! Great for enjoying the view!
The Ming tombs were scary when i went, but they had a good jade gift shop, check it out! They even sell jade pillow and tiger figurines that are about as big as my little bro!!!
Have fun @ the Summer Palace! I heard it's breathtakingly beautiful!
